Learn agave. Lead the tasting.
A training and certification pathway for bartenders, servers, sommeliers, brand advocates and anyone serious about agave. Learn the three agaves, the four pours and the ritual. Pass a live assessment. Then lead Savor Agave evenings at venues in your region, and be paid for every one.
Anyone who takes agave seriously.
No trade background is required. What we look for is curiosity, a steady hand in front of a room, and the discipline to learn the material properly.

Bartenders and servers
Certify, and your own venue can host Savor Agave without waiting for a date. You lead the ritual behind your own bar.
Sommeliers and beverage directors
Add three agaves and four pours to a palate that already knows terroir. The pairing format is built for you.
Brand advocates and educators
Lead evenings for the houses you already represent, with a kit, a script and a certificate for every guest.
Enthusiasts
You know more about agave than most people behind a bar. We match you with venues near you that need someone to lead.

Tell us about you.
One question at a time. Five minutes.
Before you apply.
Do I need to work in hospitality?
No. Bartenders and servers are the natural fit, but sommeliers, educators and enthusiasts certify every month. The assessment is the same for everyone.
How long does the training take?
About three and a half hours of modules, at your own pace. Most people finish within two weeks and book their assessment straight after.
What happens in the assessment?
A live session with a Stellar instructor, online or in person where we have one near you. You lead a short tasting, then answer the questions guests ask. Pass, and you are certified the same day. If not, you retake the parts that need work.
What am I paid?
A fixed fee for every event you lead, by format, agreed at certification and shown in your room. Paid monthly, with a statement.
Can I lead at my own bar?
Yes. Once you are certified, your venue can host Savor Agave without waiting for a date, and you lead.
Where are the events?
At Savor Agave venues in your region: bars, restaurants, hotels, resorts and country clubs. You set how far you will travel.
