Hand-selected through a blind tasting led by William H. Macy award-winning actor, longtime Woody Creek neighbor, and ukulele player alongside head of distilling Stephen Julander, Mary and Pat Scanlan, and world-renowned bartender and James Beard Award winner Sean Kenyon, this release is a five-barrel blend chosen for balance, depth, and character. Macy picked well. Distilled in 2016 and aged for nearly a decade, this bottled-in-bond rye is crafted from a mashbill of 83% Elbon rye, 14% Dent corn, and 3% malted barley with Colorado-grown grain milled and distilled entirely in Basalt. No sourcing. No outsourcing. Each William H. Macy Reserve release features its own unique mash bill and barrel selection, making every edition of this eponymous whiskey distinctly collectible. Collect all three releases to experience the evolution of the series through different blends, grains, and years of craft.
